“Silent . . .” Sermon by Gary W. Smith, Aug. 23, 2015

“For some, silence can be intimidating. The first thing many people do when entering a room is to turn on the TV, radio, some electronic device. We don’t seem to be comfortable with silences. When there is a pause in a conversation, we often rush to fill the silence with any old remark, just to end the silence. Silence makes us uncomfortable.”

The Rev. Gary W. Smith
Interim Senior Minister
