Jesus; James Gertmenian’s sermon, Jan. 11

Jim Gertmenian has long considered “a sermon on Jesus, so important is the subject and so enigmatic has been Plymouth’s relationship with the Galilean rabbi.” And, in this powerful sermon, he calls upon those listening to “see him, love him, and follow him.”

One Response to Jesus; James Gertmenian’s sermon, Jan. 11

I truly appreciated Jim’s sermon describing how an awareness of the life of Jesus, his teachings and actions inform and motivate us. As followers of Jesus we can discover the blessedness of life that God intends for individuals and communities. When we seek to honor the example of Jesus, a man who was informed and aware of God’s purposes, we will live responsibly with care and concern for others. In doing so we will find much reason for gratitude and hopefulness.
I look forward to listening again to Jim’s sermon ‘Jesus, as we know and honor him’ at Plymouth Congregational Church.
