“The Way Home,” Dec. 7, 2014 sermon by James Gertmenian

Suffering has a common root—whether one feels an existential longing for home, as we all do, or lack the shelter of home, Jim Gertmenian preached on Sunday. “Let us work with God to make the way straight for the homeless, including our homeless hearts…[and] watch for the light that is sure to come.” He introduced the sermon with a discussion of racism and white privilege in the wake of recent events.
